Lead Disaster Recovery Manager

The Lead Disaster Recovery Manager training course is designed to equip participants with the necessary expertise to establish, implement, and maintain an information and communications technology (ICT) disaster recovery management framework. This comprehensive program prepares professionals to lead organizations in developing robust recovery capabilities that ensure timely response, effective recuperation, and enhanced resilience in the face of disruptive events.

Why You Should Attend

Disasters caused by natural, human, or technological hazards can severely disrupt an organization’s ability to achieve its objectives when response capabilities are insufficient. Effective disaster recovery plans (DRPs) enable organizations to respond promptly, recover critical functions, and build long-term resilience. The PECB Certified Lead Disaster Recovery Manager training course equips participants with the knowledge to understand core disaster recovery concepts, initiate and develop DRPs, implement and test recovery strategies, activate response actions, and perform post-incident reviews. The course also introduces the application of risk assessment and business impact analysis (BIA) to support recovery planning. After attending the course, you can take the exam. If you pass the exam, you can apply for the “PECB Certified Lead Disaster Recovery Manager” credential. This credential will demonstrate your professional capabilities to support and lead disaster recovery teams in implementing disaster recovery strategies.

This training course is intended for individuals responsible for establishing and maintaining an ICT DRP in an organization; individuals responsible for implementing and testing disaster recovery strategies; professionals or consultants seeking to conduct risk assessments and BIAs; professionals seeking to carry out disaster recovery testing and performance measurements; individuals responsible for maintaining the IT infrastructure in an organization; and members of a disaster recovery team.
