Why Should You Attend?
The age of globalization has introduced new challenges across all industries, and the food sector is no exception. The origin and safety of food products have become primary concerns in today’s marketplace. It has grown increasingly difficult to maintain accurate knowledge regarding production methods and the provenance of food items. Internationally recognized food safety measures are no longer optional; they have become fundamental requirements for all organizations involved in food production or service.
The implementation of a food safety management system (FSMS) represents a strategic decision for ensuring the safety of food delivered to consumers. This training course, developed by PECB, is designed to help participants develop the knowledge and skills necessary to support organizations in establishing, implementing, managing, and maintaining an FSMS based on ISO 22000 and other best practices. Implementers play a pivotal role in an organization’s capacity to successfully implement and sustain an FSMS.
The training course enables participants to assist organizations in establishing the processes needed to maintain the quality and safety of their products and services while adhering to all legal, regulatory, and other applicable requirements. Throughout this program, participants will learn to establish controls that proactively prevent noncompliance and contribute to fostering a culture of safety, integrity, transparency, and openness.
The training course is followed by a certification examination. Successful candidates may apply for the “PECB Certified ISO 22000 Lead Implementer” credential. This internationally recognized certificate validates professional capabilities and competencies in implementing an FSMS within an organization based on the requirements of ISO 22000.
