Islam Elzayat leads training at Horus Academy. He brings more than 17 years of experience across IT service management, digital transformation, cybersecurity, governance, risk and compliance, working as a consultant, third-party auditor and trainer for public and private sector organizations.
He is a PECB Certified Trainer, a PeopleCert Approved Trainer for ITIL 4 and ITIL Version 5, a PMI Authorized Training Partner Instructor for PMP and a Microsoft Certified Trainer, four areas that professionals often have to connect at work. That mix lets him show how the frameworks fit together in practice instead of teaching each one in isolation, for example how ISO/IEC 27001 controls rely on sound IT service management, or how a compliance initiative is planned and delivered as a project.
In ITIL, Islam holds the ITIL Version 5 Master, ITIL 4 Master and ITIL v3 Expert designations and is recognized as a PeopleCert ITIL Ambassador. In ISO, he has completed more than 500 third-party audit days across international certification and assurance work, experience he brings to Lead Auditor and Lead Implementer training. He is also CISA and PMP certified and a Microsoft Certified Trainer.

PECB is a personnel certification body which provides education and certification for individuals under ISO/IEC 17024 for a wide range of disciplines. PECB is accredited by a number of accreditation bodies, including The International Accreditation Service (IAS) and The United Kingdom Accreditation Service (UKAS) for various certification schemes. It is important to note that partners cannot make any reference in their websites or any marketing material to present PECB’s accreditations as their own. The symbols of the accreditation bodies can be used only by PECB (e.g., in its website, marketing materials, professional certificates). Each accreditation body provides the rules and guidelines regarding the usage of such symbols and PECB makes sure to comply with those rules.
